1990 Geo Prizm
Geo Prizm was first introduced in 1989, manufactured at NUMMI Fremont, California.
It's the early model for the 1990 Geo Prizm. It is a 4-door front-wheel drive
subcompact vehicle with 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 120 horsepower.
It offers optional 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic for the LSi and base while
4-speed automatic for the GSi. The 1990 Geo Prizm base model features an engine
that does its work with quick shift. The standard engine 1.6-liter 4-cylinder
for the base model and LSi options, is making only 102 horsepower and a torque
of 101 pound per feet, but with satisfying gas mileage. The configuration of the
two engine Prizms are both of dual-overhead-cam. However the GSi edition offers
an engine that kicks 130 horsepower and 105 pound per feet of torque.
Prizm is agile and responsive in normal driving, but the steer is somewhat hard
to maneuver for it goes a bit twisty. The base body leans and grips little when
it goes fast into corners. The remarkable thing with Geo Prizm is that it has
an amazing ride quality that will surely make you feel comfortable while on the
road.
