1994 Geo Prizm
Geo Prizm is an American looking vehicle primarily of Japanese origin, manufactured
in Fremont, California's NUMMI assembly plant. It is operating with the joint
venture of Toyota and General Motors. So the combination of both the American
and Japanese components is noticeable in this vehicle. Prizm comes in two trims,
the LSi and the base. These two are both four-door sedans with front wheel drive.
The difference between these two comes out with the options offered aside from
the engine. LSi manifests greater power because of its 1.8-liter engine, performing
stronger with low rpm.
The 1.6-liter I-4 SOHC MPI 16-valve engine is coupled with 5-speed manual transmission
with overdrive. Other features included in Prizm are the front disc and rear drum
brakes, electronic ignition, front and rear strut suspension, front and rear 14.0
diameter styled steel wheels and hub covers, and dual air bags. There are also
bucket front seats with manual reclining, cloth faced front and rear seat with
vinyl side and back, cloth door trim set, cloth headliner, and full carpet floor
covering.
