Geo Prizm Engine

The power of the Geo Prizm is generated from one of two sources, it can either the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine or the 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine. The optional 1.8-liter DOHC engine is available on LSi models. It kicks 115 horsepower with the optional automatic transmission, stronger than the other one, and average in acceleration. On the other hand standard 1.6-liter DOHC performs well enough with the 5-speed manual and horsepower of 105. When it is coupled with the 3-speed automatic transmission, instead of the 4-speed overdrive unit, apparently decreases power.
