Geo Prizm Picture
Geo Prizm is an American looking vehicle primarily of Japanese origin, manufactured in
Fremont, California's New United Motor Manufacturing Incorporated (NUMMI) assembly
plant. It is operating with the joint venture of Toyota and General Motors. So
the combination of both the American and Japanese components is noticeable in
this vehicle. Prizm comes in two trims, the LSi and the base. These two are both
four-door sedans with front wheel drive. The difference between these two comes
out with the options offered aside from the engine.

The 1993 through 1997 Geo Prizm models share a basic design with the Toyota Corolla
just like its predecessors. The body has become a bit longer with that roundly
redesigned front-drive subcompact sedan from the Chevy's import group. Geo Expansion
was extended for the interior and sedan's trunk. Geo Prizm has been known as the
economy car, a stripped-down box that doesn't have the needed strength to push
its self through. With only a side view mirror,
mirror,
floor mats and AM radio
offered as options. But now the Prizm has already achieved some of the performance
and handling attributes that only the expensive vehicles once have. It handles
quite well but not that impressive. High speed cornering would give pain to its
tires, and the optional power steering seems inaccurate although goes firmer on
turns. For a subcompact vehicle, its ride comfort is remarkable, but will surely
jolt on rough road. The very impressive thing about Geo Prizm is that it won't
spread the news when it goes on road.
